What we do with the details you send us — in plain words.

Who we are

Villa Marina, Kaštel Stari, Croatia, is responsible for your data. Write to zekic.bozo@yahoo.com with any question about it.

What we collect

When you request dates: your name, email, phone, country, the stay you asked for, the number of guests and your message. To stop automated abuse we also keep a one-way scrambled version of your IP address for 30 days. If you email yourself a quote: your email, the dates and, if you tick the box, your permission for the owners to write to you about them.

Why

Only to answer your request and, if you book, to manage your stay (steps before a contract, GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and to protect the booking form from abuse (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). No advertising, no selling, no profiling.

Who helps us

Hosting (Vercel), our database in the EU (Supabase, Frankfurt) and email delivery (Resend). They process data only on our instructions. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number.

How long

Requests that did not become a booking are deleted automatically 12 months after the dates. Bookings are kept as long as accounting and tourist-tax rules require. Saved quotes are deleted after 90 days.

Cookies

Only strictly necessary ones: your language choice, and a sign-in cookie for the owners’ admin. No analytics or tracking cookies. The video tour is loaded from YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press play.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format — just email us. You may also complain to the Croatian Data Protection Agency (AZOP, azop.hr).
